9 am - Macy’s at Herald Square
The world’s largest department store is right on your doorstep. With 11 floors spanning and entire city block, Macy’s has everything you could ever need, from dresses to shoes, to shirts and even housewares. With a Starbucks and an extensive food court in the store itself, you can recharge and head straight back into the deals again. The store still has several of its original wood escalators, so you get a glimpse of history as you peruse the floors.
11 am - Fifth Avenue
Glitz and glam ride up and down Fifth Avenue. Hundreds of famous brands have their stores along this famous avenue. First, there’s the street’s flagship store, Saks Fifth Avenue, where you can find elegant clothes and jewelry. Then, you can take your pick amongst luxury brands like Gucci, Fendi, Cartier, and Bergdorf Goodman.
1 pm - SoHo
This famous neighborhood, south of Houston Street, is the fashionable home of designer stores and one-of-a-kind boutique shops. Madonna & Co sells exclusive designer clothes, while Todd & Duncan offers the finest cashmere in the city. Visit Versani for some of the best jewelry in the world, or Eva Shaw for bright, unique gemstones. There are endless opportunities for great finds in Soho’s packed streets.
3 pm - East Village Thrift Stores
The East Village is the perfect place to end the day by treasure hunting for vintage clothing. Check out Cure Thrift for amazing gems. No Relation has quality vintage clothes at scandalous prices, and they’re part of L Train Vintage, a collection of vintage stores right by the L train. 6 pm - Manhattan Mall
It's six o'clock now and you're tired. You're probably about ready to spend some quality time with your pillow before dinner. We recommend dropping off your bags and making one last stop to our neighbor, Manhattan Mall. You won't regret it. While you're finding some of those final items, make sure to grab a Starbucks for that energy that you may crave. After all, the night has only just begun.
