Q: Can I store my bag?

A: New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania does offer luggage storage. We charge $5 per bag and will hold your bag until 7 pm on the day of drop off.

Q: Can I send a package to the hotel?

A: New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania will accept or hold packages/boxes for reserved guests of the hotel only. Boxes should arrive no earlier than 10 days prior to the guest’s arrival. Address the package to the name of the guest that the reservation was made under. There is a $5 fee per package and there is a limit of 5 packages per reservation.

Q: Is breakfast included?

A: Breakfast is included with all reservations. Each reservation includes a continental breakfast at Cafe R. Upgrades are available for the breakfast buffet upon check in.

Q: Is my ID/passport required at check-in?

A: A Government issued ID as well as a valid credit card are required at check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

A: Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. You have the option of purchasing late check-out (up to 3 PM) for an additional $95 plus tax.

Q: Do kids stay free?

A: Yes, guests who are 12 years of age and under stay free, as long as it is within the same room and room booking.

Q: Are smoking rooms available?

A: Smoking rooms are available on designated floors.

Q: Is there a fitness center?

A: There are two fitness centers. Guests have access to both. For those seeking an indoor pool and full gym experience, all guests (18+ years) can visit the New York Sports Club (NYSC) on 32nd Street.

Guests of the hotel are also invited to take advantage of our on premise gym equipped with weights and cardio machines, located on the 18th floor.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Directly across the street from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden at 401 7th Avenue (between 33rd & 32nd Streets).

Q: What airports are nearby?

A: We are in close proximity to the three major New York/New Jersey airports including LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark Airports. We recommend that you leave 1 hour for travel to LaGuardia, 2 hours for travel to JFK, and 1 hour for travel time to Newark (travel times may vary).

A shuttle van service can be arranged in advance via the Sightseeing and Airport Transportation Desk, located in the lobby (24-hour notice is required). Shuttle fees are included below.

  • From or to LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
    • $22.00 USD per person for a Super Shuttle
    • $96.00 for a private car (sedan) for two people
  • From or to JFK Airport (JFK)
    • $25.00 USD per person for a Super Shuttle
    • $117.00 USD for a private car (sedan) for two people
  • From or to Newark Airport (EWR)
    • $28.00 USD per person for a Super Shuttle
    • $130.00 USD for a private car (sedan) for two people

*(The private car prices include all taxes, fuel surcharges, and gratuity. The shuttle prices do not include gratuity.)

When booking transportation, please let us know your vehicle preference, your detailed flight information, and a mobile phone number where you can be reached on the day of travel. For your maximum comfort and convenience, the Theater and Tour Desk (212 268-5319) will be happy to arrange a private chauffeured sedan or limousine to meet you at the airport.

Q: Do you have onsite laundry service?

A: We do not have a self-service laundry facility on site. However, we do offer dry cleaning. To arrange for dry cleaning, drop your garments off at the Bell Captain’s station before 9 AM for same day service.

Q: Does your hotel offer currency exchange?

A: Yes, guests can exchange limited world currencies to US dollars at the front desk 24-hours a day.

Q: Are there minibars in the rooms?

A: There are no minibars in the room.

Q: Are extra beds/roll away beds available?

A: Yes, roll away beds are available for $25 plus tax per night.

Q: Is parking available?

A: Yes. New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania is pleased to offer valet parking to guests for a fee of $53 per night (no in/out privileges). For larger vehicles, an additional fee of $10 per night plus applicable taxes might apply. Self-parking is also available at $32.00 for a regular size vehicle with no in and out privileges.
