Given our perfect location in Midtown Manhattan across from Penn Station and amongst major attractions, Citi Bike, New York City’s bike sharing system has designated a station right at our doorstep. That means that you have more options to discover the city in an environmentally friendly way!
Hotel Pennsylvania is pleased to be chosen as a key location and would like to encourage guests to join us in our efforts to conserve energy by cycling around the city. As one of only two hotels in Manhattan to receive an Energy Star Rating, the national symbol for energy efficiency in America, we understand the importance of energy conservation.
The bike station can be found in the curb lane on the south side of 33rd Street, running from 7th Ave to the start of the hotel loading zone.
How it Works
- Cyclists can purchase 24 hour, weekly, and annual membership passes. A Citi Bike pass will allow riders to unlock and return one of the thousands of bikes to a variety of locations around Manhattan 24 hours a day, 7 days-a-week.
- Each station has a touch screen kiosk, a map of the service area and surrounding neighborhood, and a docking system to unlock and lock bikes. Bikes are reserved for those 16 years of age and older.
