Getting Into the Great Live TV Shows

Saturday Night Live (NBC)
Numbered tickets are distributed on the day of the show at 7AM outside 30 Rockefeller Plaza on 49th Street (Between 5th and 6th Avenue). HINT: The line usually starts to form well before midnight.

NBCChoose between waiting for the dress rehearsal (2 hours long starting at 8 PM), or the live show (1.5 hours starting at 11:30 PM). Note: to get in, you must return to the studio no later than 45 minutes prior to your selection.

Late Night With Conan O'Brien (NBC)
Somewhat easier than Saturday Night Live! Go to 30 Rockefeller Plaza before 9AM and return at 3:45PM.

CBSLate Show with David Letterman (CBS)
You have two choices. Either make an advance request on www.cbs.com, or go to the Ed Sullivan Theater at 1697 Broadway (between 53rd and 54th Streets), weekdays from 9:30AM to 12:30 PM or weekends between 10 AM and 6 PM. HINT: One other option, for standby tickets try calling 212.247.6497 at 11 AM the day of the show and answer a trivia question.



Comedy CentralThe Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central) Reservations can be made at www.comedycentral.com or go directly to the studio (for a standby ticket) located at 733 11th Avenue (between 51st and 52nd Street).

The Colbert Report (Comedy Central)
