Does the hotel have meeting rooms available?

Yes, we have over 90,000 sq.ft of function space including the adjoining Penn Plaza Pavilion. Our executive conference center facilities can handle meetings for 10-80 people. Ballrooms and larger facilities are also available, which can accommodate groups between 10 and 1,000 people.

Is there a concierge service?

Yes, there is a concierge service available.

What is your age requirement policy?

Guests booking a room must be 18 years of age or older.

Is there a cancellation fee?

There is no cancellation fee, unless stated otherwise with your booking and/or package details.

Do your rooms allow rollaway beds/cribs? Is there a charge?

Yes, rollaway beds are available for a fee of $25 and cribs are available upon request.

Do kids stay free?

Yes, guests aged 17 and under stay free, as long as it is within the same room and room booking.

Is my ID/passport required at check-in?

A Government issued ID as well as a valid credit card is required at check-in.

Do you have a business center?

Yes. Our business center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Located on the lobby level, hi-speed Internet access is available for a nominal fee as is copying, faxing and printing services. If you have a laptop, surf the web wireless anywhere within thehotel for a fee of $10.95 USD for 24 hours standard or $14.95 USD for 24 hours premium.

Do you offer room service?

We do not offer room service. There are several restaurants within the hotel and just outside offering everything from on the go food to casual and fine dining.

Are rooms handicapped accessible?

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we are pet-friendly year-round! As the host hotel for the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world, we are no strangers to hosting pets. During the Westminster Show, we are home to some of the most prized dogs in the world. In fact, we were awarded the Pre-Westminster 2012 "Pet Friendly Hotel Of The Year" for our exclusive ‘Five-Paw’ services for canine Westminster hopefuls.

Our pet friendly check-in places you and your pet in a comfortable guestroom… and your buddy will be happy to get a special “we're glad to see you too” treat.

There will be a one-time charge of $25 per room per pet per stay. We allow up to two dogs per room with no weight restrictions. For guidelines and limitations on cats and other animals, please contact the hotel directly at 1.800.223.8585.

How close is the hotel to attractions?

New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania is located in the heart of it all! We are just a block away from the Empire State Building, Macy’s flagship store, and walking distance to Times Square, and the Broadway Theater District. Located directly across the street from Madison Square Garden and New York City’s main transit hub, Penn Station, guests are a short jaunt to all New York has to offer.

Is there a fee to use the Fitness Center?

There is no fee - use of the Hotel’s Fitness Center is complimentary for all guests of the hotel.

Does your hotel offer Currency Exchange?

Yes, guests can exchange limited world currencies to US dollars at the front desk 24-hours a day.

Does the hotel offer smoking/non smoking areas?

We offer both smoking and non smoking rooms. 90% of our rooms are smoke free while the remaining 10% are designated smoking rooms.

Do you have onsite laundry service?

We do not offer onsite laundry services. The onsite concierge team will be happy to assist, should you require laundry services.

Is there airport shuttle service?

There are a variety of transportation options to and from airports including airport shuttle service.

Shuttle van service can be arranged, in advance, via the Sightseeing and Airport Transportation Desk in the lobby (daily 4:00am to 7:00pm, 24 hours notice is required) Approximate traveling times are 1 hour to LaGuardia, 2 hours to JFK and 1 hour to Newark (travel times vary depending on traffic conditions). Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, directly across the street from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden at 401 Seventh Avenue (at 33rd Street).

What time is Check-in and Check-out?

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 12 noon.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, guests can receive free in room Wi-Fi access when you book online through our website. If you do not book through our website you can use Wi-Fi in our lobby for a fee.

Is there parking?

Yes, New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania is please to offer valet parking for guests. Daily parking fees for cars is $51 and SUV/trucks is $61 from when you check-in - no in/out privileges. If you have any questions about valet parking, please contact the Hotel at 212-736-5000 or email reservations@hotelpenn.com.

Do you accept shipments?

Yes, New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania will accept or hold packages/boxes for pre-registered guests only. Boxes should arrive no earlier than 10 days prior to the guest’s arrival. There is a $5 USD fee per package and there is a limit of 5 packages per reservation.
