You Scream, We Scream, for NYC’s Best Ice Cream

Jul 03rd 2014

Ice cream is always a good idea, but especially in the summertime. It’s literally the coolest treat!

Ice-cream cones are the food fad that just doesn’t go away, and we love it! But while the cone remains constant some varieties come and go such as: root beer floats, sundaes, banana splits, and sandwiches. Fans of each needn’t worry the great thing is they always cycle back through! The latest ice cream variation to reemerge on NYC menus is the sundae. Some of the city’s best eateries are revisiting this classic dessert and making it new again!

During your visit check out these restaurants that are churning out news twists on the classic dessert:

Narcissa – Winter sundae with fruity olive oil

Telepan Local – Apple pie sundae with tart filling

Empire Dinner – Banana Split made with gelato

The East Pole – Adult ice cream sundae with Pimm’s soaked cherries
