The Big Game Kicks Off Across The Hudson

Sep 26th 2013

Football’s biggest showdown is coming to town! For the first time, the Big Game will be held in the North East where two teams will battle it out for supremacy and the coveted ‘ring’ that defines a career at the MetLife Stadium in the annual pro football championship. MetLife Stadium will be the first outdoor stadium to host the Big Game in the cold weather climate, which is sure to change things up a bit!

When the commercials and half time show get as much attention as the game itself, you know the event is guaranteed to be a touchdown! This year’s half time show performer Bruno Mars ‘would catch a ‘football’ for you’, especially if you’re feeling lazy and like not doing anything! While we don’t know which two teams are facing off, just imagine if the final was between both of New York’s teams (Giants vs Jets), who call MetLife home, we can get excited about what’s sure to be a crowd pleasing performance by Bruno Mars!

On game day you’ll also want to keep an eye out for football specials at restaurants and bars. It’s the most watched American television broadcast each year and basically a national ‘eat-whatever-you-want, forget-the-diet’ day as the second largest day for U.S. food consumption.

Be sure to join our huddle and book New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania as your post-game crash pad; in the city that never sleeps, the game day celebrations are sure to be fantastic!

Game Day is February 2, 2013, let the countdown continue! Click here for more information and our official countdown to kickoff.
