Producing some of North America’s biggest ballets and featuring world-renowned talent, it’s known for its athletic and contemporary style. With approximately 90 dancers and a repertory of over 150 works, The New York City Ballet is America’s largest dance organization and one of the world’s premiere dance companies.
For the past 50 years, the Lincoln Center has been the home of classic and timeless productions such as Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, and many more. To commemorate their Lincoln Center anniversary, the 2013-2014 season will present 50 ballets beginning with Swan Lake, which opens September 17th, 2013.
For a truly classic New York holiday experience while visiting New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania be sure to see NYCB’s annual production of The Nutcracker, which will run from November 29th through January 4th. This is always a popular event so be sure to get tickets soon; they will be on sale in late September.
