Commemorating September 11: September 11, 2013
Each year on September 11, New York City remembers and honors the victims of the World Trade Center attacks through a variety of memorial events including concerts, fund-raisers, religious services and more.
Feast of San Gennaro: September 12-22, 2013
For 11 days, the streets of Little Italy will be transformed into the 87th Annual Feast of San Gennaro. This year’s event is expected to bring more than one million people to participate and watch the festivities, which include parades, free musical entertainment every-day and loads of authentic food. Not to mention world-famous cannoli-eating competition.
DUMBO Arts Festival: September 27-28, 2013
Attracting 200,000 visitors over the course of three days, 500 artists will create and display art in both indoor and outdoor spaces for public enjoyment. DUMBO is the neighborhood that spans between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, including the waterfront.
The 50th New York Film Festival: September 27 - October 13, 2013
