Glitz, glamour, and chocolate are taking over the city! This month’s must see events offer something for everyone with red carpet premieres, fast cars and even the Easter Bunny. Now that spring has officially arrived and the warmer temperatures are here it’s time to get out, enjoy the outdoors and hit up some of the city’s best events.

Fabergé Big Egg Hunt – April 1-17, 2014
An age-old tradition with a modern day twist! The world’s biggest egg hunt is coming to New York City this spring. From April 1-17, 2014 nearly 275 egg sculptures will be hidden around the city as a part of the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt. The 2.5 ft. eggs will be designed by some of the world’s most respected designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Jeff Koons, Ralph Lauren and many more. The public will be able to hunt for the eggs using a smartphone application. Once 10 people have checked in at the egg location the information is released to the public.
On April 18, 2014 all of the eggs will be brought together to Rockefeller Center and then on the 22nd there will be a Grand Auction for which all proceeds from the eggs will go to charity.

Tribeca Film Festival – April 16, 2014
Being dubbed the best line-up in years, this annual festival will celebrate film, music, and culture April 16-27, 2014 while transforming the downtown neighborhood into a hub for red carpet and gala affairs. The festival screens more than 100 films from around the world and offers a unique experience where the director, cast and crew are often on hand for a Q & A after the screenings. Must see films this year include: In Order of Disappearance, Chef, Bright Days Ahead, Manos Sucias and more.

New York International Auto Show – April 18, 2014
Get ready to start your engines! North America's oldest and most attended auto show is back. Featuring the hottest cars and most innovative automotive technology out there this is one event you won’t want to miss. The show returns to the Jacob Javits Convention Center from April 18-27, 2014. Special exhibits will include the NYC Police Museum, NY State Historical Vehicles the 1932 Packard Phaeton and 1967 Lincoln Executive Limousine and more.

Easter Parade – April 20, 2014
Wear your Sunday best and enjoy the Easter Parade along Fifth Avenue! Every year parade revelers don their Sunday best and over-the-top Easter bonnets; even dogs take part. There will be numerous events taking place around the city on Easter Day and nearly everything will remain open. There will also be Easter egg hunts in several of the parks, where children can collect colorful eggs and prizes.

Earth Day – April 22, 2014
New York's Earth Day events are the largest green events in the country often hosted in high-traffic and high profile areas such as Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, and Union Square. Earth Day events in Union Square this year will include an annual green vehicle runway show and exhibition, live entertainment, and dozens of exhibitors.
